About the Artist

Charity Young is a Chinese-American visual artist, writer, and lecturer based in Portland, OR. She studied visual art practice at Princeton University and completed her MFA at Cornell in 2024, where she taught writing. Her visual work translates loneliness, desire, and the unconscious into tensions between domestic space, remembered landscape, and the body.
